Arccgor internal discussion meeting on the current financial crisis
The members of Arccgor have met with Murat Kotan (UvA) to discuss the current developments. This meeting has been the trigger for a broader meeting on the financial crisis on 12 November, to be announced shortly via email and on this website.
Henk Overbeek has published an article on the financial crisis in the Volkskrant on 25 September 2008 (in Dutch).

Angela Wigger has successfully defended her PhD dissertation 'Competition for Competitiveness. The Politics of the Transformation of the EU Competition Regime' on 19 June 2008. The Arccgor Team congratulates Dr. Wigger!

ECPR Joint Sessions, Lisbon 2009
A joint proposal by Angela Wigger, Hubert Buch-Hansen and Laura Horn for a workshop at the ECPR Joint Sessions 2009 in Lisbon has been accepted. The workshop theme will be 'The Role of Transnational Experts in European Integration: Recharging the Debate'. A Call for Papers will be sent around in autumn 2008.

The Transnational Politics of Corporate Governance Regulation
ARCCGOR is proud to announce the publication of a new book, The Transnational Politics of Corporate Governance Regulation. This book is the result of the inaugural ARCCGOR workshop and consists of contributions by all ARCCGOR members and several internationally recognized IPE scholars. The volume is edited by ARCCGOR members Henk Overbeek, Bastiaan van Apeldoorn and Andreas Nölke and published by Routledge and is available here.
Two chapters of this book are pre-printed as working papers in the ARCCGOR Working Paper Series and can be downloaded here
